Inward Time & The Good Earth.

We are just a few days passed the Autumn Equinox and there seems a noticeable shift of Autumn stillness creeping in, the sky low and quiet, and darkness more visible during the daytime. Often around this time of year, there is an increase of clients with issues of low mood, energy loss, stress, depletion or struggling with the light changes.

Numerous ailments and issues are commonly related to the disconnection from our earth or being out of sync with our true essence. With the times we live in frequently being on ‘fast track’, slowing down in alignment with nature can be challenging. But when we do receive and attune to seasonal shifts, there is much on offer, many abundant gifts to support our mind body and soul needs.

Here are a few ‘food for thought’ autumn pointers, to help you harvest well and earth you into the season!

Slow it down… Take a leaf from nature’s book, and see how you may be able to create stilling time for yourself, so that less becomes more. When we slow, we can notice what our needs really are, come back to our heart and be open to the treasures of awareness we hold within.

Natural Endings… Autumn is a natural time of death and ending. Nature needs to die down, so it can nourish the seeds in the earth over winter, re-charge with energy, ready to sprout in spring. Spending time for reflection, letting go and embracing cycles of ending in your life, offers this natural regeneration process to form in you.

Create time for self… As we now move into “Inward Time” it’s about coming home to yourself, feeding, reflecting, nourishing, good-earthing. How do you come home to yourself, your mind, body, soul and spirit?

Gather in… Take time to receive and notice nature. When we take time to observe the fallen chestnut conkers, the morning mists, the crows caw, we are naturally aligning to the flow of the earth, optimising channels to the healing life force available.
